Structure of a Pancreatic ATP-sensitive potassium channel

On January 12th, 2017, Institute of Molecular Medicine in Peking University, Chen Lei Research Group of Peking University - Tsinghua University Life Science Joint Center and Gao Ning Research Group of College of Life Sciences in Tsinghua University worked together and published a paper named Structure of a Pancreatic ATP-sensitive Potassium Channel in the journal Cell. This paper analyzed the cryo-electron microscopic structure of a Pancreatic ATP-sensitive Potassium Channel(KATP) with the medium resolution of 5.6 Å and revealed the assembly mode of KATP and provided a structural model for the further study of its working mechanism.
